چکیده
South Africa has been classified as one of the most homicidal, violent, and dangerous places across globe. However, two elements that pushed high in crime rank are rates social violence homicide. It was reported by Business Insider is among top 15 ferocious nations on earth. By 1995, rated second highest terms murder. rate reduced for some years suddenly rose again recent years. Due to Africa, foreign investors no longer interested continuing or starting a business with nation, hence, its economy declining. Africa’s government looking solutions issue redeem image country ranking boost confidence investors. Many traditional approaches data analysis crime-related studies have done but machine learning approach not adequately considered. The police station many other agencies deal hold lot databases can be used predict analyze criminal happenings provinces Africa. This research work aimed at offering solution problem building model crime. shall extract useful information from Africa's nine provinces' data. A prediction system proposed. To accomplish this, 27 categories were obtained popular repository “Kaggle.” Diverse analytics steps applied preprocess datasets, algorithm (linear regression) build predictive future appropriate authorities security insight into trends alleviate them encourage stakeholders continue their businesses.

Stock Price Prediction using Machine Learning and Swarm Intelligence
Background and Objectives: Stock price prediction has become one of the interesting and also challenging topics for researchers in the past few years. Due to the non-linear nature of the time-series data of the stock prices, mathematical modeling approaches usually fail to yield acceptable results. Therefore, machine learning methods can be a promising solution to this problem. Methods: In this...
متن کاملRecent trends in antimicrobial peptide prediction using machine learning techniques
The importance to develop effective alternatives to known antibiotics due to increased microbial resistance is gaining momentum in recent years. Therefore, it is of interest to predict, design and computationally model Antimicrobial Peptides (AMPs). AMPs are oligopeptides with varying size (from 5 to over100 residues) having key role in innate immunity. Thus, the potential exploitation of AMPs ...
متن کاملInformation Visualization using Machine Learning
Data visualization is an important tool for discovering patterns in the data. Finding interesting visualizations can be however a difficult task if there are many possible ways to visualize the data. In this paper we present the VizRank method that can estimate visualization interestingness. The method can be applied on a number of visualization techniques and can automatically identify the mos...
متن کاملUnhappiness and Crime: Evidence from South Africa
This paper is the first of its kind to study quality of life responses of crime victims. Using cross-sectional data from the OHS97 survey of South Africa, it is shown that victims report significantly lower well-being than the non-victims, ceteris paribus. Happiness is lower for non-victimized respondents currently living in higher crime areas. However, some evidence is found that criminal vict...
متن کاملCrime and Local Inequality in South Africa
We examine the relationship between crime and local economic welfare in South Africa. Unlike previous studies, which use a much larger unit of analysis, we utilize data from 1066 police station jurisdictions. We find that inequality is strongly correlated with both property crime and violent crime. Once controls for the opportunity cost and benefits of crime participation are introduced, this c...
